One of my favorite joints for after-hours food in Austin used to be a New York-style deli that served a humongous Reuben, dripping with Russian dressing. Right around the time I stopped eating giant sandwiches at 2:00 a.m., the deli closed. (I can neither verify nor deny those two things are related.) Sauerkraut can help keep your gut in tune and homemade Russian Dressing is a good source of healthy fat, so go ahead and eat this at 2:00 in the afternoon (or maybe even 2:00 a.m.).
