Method

A very simple and pleasantly fresh sweet in the winter, when fruit is rather rare, can be made with pineapple. Take one, as ripe as possible, cut it in small cubes, and soak these for an hour in either kirschwasser or maraschino. Whip some fresh cream, have it very stiff, and add, when ready, castor sugar, the pieces of pineapple, and a little of the liqueur. Mix well with the cream with a spoon, but do not whip any more. Put it on ice for one hour.
