Method

Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the seed, scoop out the flesh, and fill them with a mixture made of sausage meat, minced mushrooms, fried onions finely chopped, breadcrumbs moistened with tomato juice, and a little stock. Bake in the oven with a small piece of butter over each tomato. This dish should be highly spiced and seasoned.
