I have tried many variations of piglet, which I will go for at any given opportunity. I have enjoyed most, with the exception of one I ate in northeast India, which I would suggest was, despite its size, actually a pig so old that all the other pigs went to seek advice from it. It was not only inedible but also very hairy for one apparently so young.
Order suckling pig through your butcher in advance, as they often take a while to arrive.
