Behind London’s Blackfriars Road there is a little Chilean cafe called El Vergel. It is easily missed were it not for the happy queue of clientele waiting their turn to lunch on delicious things made by the smiling staff inside. But there is one thing I now find impossible not to order every time I go. It is nothing short of outstanding and totally worth a trip across town. The owners are so nice that I’m sure if I asked them for the recipe they would give it to me. But I don’t feel I can.
