Grinding whole millet in a blender creates a type of “cream of millet” hot cereal experience that cooks in mere minutes. The barely tanned bowl of creamed grains, while cozy, needs crunch, brightness, and something juicy. Enter: the breakfast waldorf (stick with me here, there is no mayonnaise in this recipe). Salad doesn’t need to be savory to be classified as such, which is why it just feels right on this warm/cold bowl.
