  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 mediu

Method

What to do

  1. Add the butter and olive oil to a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. When the butter starts to foam, add the onion and cook for 10 minutes, or until softened and starting to caramelise. Add the rice malt syrup, rosemary and four of the figs and simmer gently for a further 10 minutes, or until golden and sticky.
