It was very surprising to me to see how perfect an ice cream can be without using the classic ice cream ingredients. You wouldn’t guess that this ice cream doesn’t have any dairy or refined sugars in it because it is made with such minimal effort with a dreamy result.
Place the sliced bananas in a food processor and pulse for 15 seconds at a time until the bananas begin to break up. Add the agave, vanilla, nut butter, cocoa powder and cinnamon and increase the speed of the food processor. Once it reaches a creamy consistency, remove from the processor and transfer to a freezer proof container. Fold through the almonds. Flatten the mixture using a spatula and
