Open Sandwiches made Regal with Truffle

Method

Truffles are ideal with cold meats, pork, beef or even ham. I made an open sandwich with undercooked beef, leaves of red chicory and slices of truffle on half a ciabatta. I used no butter in an effort to keep my waistline trim, but butter or olive oil could be used. I photographed it with beech leaves, the tree the truffle is found under.
