  • 100 g (4 oz) cooked potatoes

Method

Mash potatoes (do not add milk) with the seasoning. Sieve flour and rub in butter. Chop mushrooms into small pieces. Add potatoes, cheese and mushrooms to flour. Mix to a firm consistency with a little milk and form into balls. Lightly grease pan, pat scones into 5 cm (2 in) wide by 1 cm (½ in) deep circles and cook steadily on each side for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
