In Brazil they’ve got an awful lot of coconut as well as the coffee in the song, and they like to make quick-as-a-flash cookies from the shredded flesh plus sweetened condensed milk. Cocos are ready to eat in a very few minutes—they’re even good warm from the oven—but they keep their toothsomeness for weeks if stored in a cool place.
