  • 1 large can of fish
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 sweet onion, sliced in thin rings
  • 1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ can of water
  • 2 teaspoons minced parsley
  • grated cheese (optional)


Butter a baking dish generously, and make layers in it of the flaked fish, onion, pepper, and parsley. Dilute the soup with the water, and pour over all. Put grated cheese on top if desired. Bake about 20 minutes in a moderately hot oven (400°).
