Almond Honey Spice Cake

The almond tree goes back to biblical times and it grows in abundance in many areas of the Mediterranean and Middle East. In fact, now almond trees are grown all over the world - from California to eastern India.

A combination of almonds and honey is a traditional marriage in the baking of many areas of the Mediterranean, particularly for gatherings to celebrate Christmas and other national holidays. In this recipe, I’ve used some delicious spices to give the almond and honey flavou
