  • About

These are not, of course, pies but actually two small cakes or biscuits sandwiched together with a sweet filling. They originate from America, have been around for nearly 100 years and are still as popular as ever. Legend has it they are so named because children exclaimed ‘whoopee’ when they saw them! Serve any flavour combination - or all three if you’ve got room - with a cold glass of milk.
