  • About

Chicharrón de Tiritas, aka chicharrón botanero: This is the most common kind of chicharrón in Mexico and the U.S. This style is cut into thick strips and is similar to American-style pork rinds because it can be snacked on as is. In Mexican supermarkets, these are sometimes sold by the pound in plastic bags on top of the butcher case.
