  • About

Thai basil is slightly spicy, with a hint of anise flavor. The plant has small green leaves and purple stems and flowers. The leaves can be used fresh or cooked and are very common in Southeast Asian cuisine. Fresh Thai basil is available in most Asian markets and can be grown in any garden in warm weather. Micro Thai basil leaves are the tiny baby leaves of young plants and have a subtle spiciness.
