Oven thermometer

Test the temperature of your oven by placing an oven thermometer on the middle shelf. This will show the oven’s true temperature compared to what it says on the dial. You may be surprised by what you see – my oven is about 50°C (120°F) out, and thanks to the thermometer, I always get the temperature right for my bakes.
