12 Button Biscuits

Use any of my biscuit recipes to make little round biscuits. Pierce 2 or 4 holes in the middle of the raw biscuits to resemble buttonholes, then bake, re-form the holes when they come out of the oven and tie liquorice laces or ribbons through the holes.
