Not only do I love saying the name of this incredible seven-ingredient Japanese seasoning; I also put this stuff on everything from pizza and pasta to popcorn. The heat factor is not overwhelming like a habanero, and is far more subtle. But it still provides a nice combination of fiery heat and numbing heat. I have even used this on fresh mango with lime. Try it! Or don’t. More shichimi togarashi for me.
