- Start with a square piece of parchment paper that is slightly bigger than your cake pan.

- Fold it in half, bringing the bottom to the top.

- Next, fold the parchment in half again, this time bringing the left side to the right side.

- Fold the parchment into a thin triangle by bringing the right side to the left side and then repeating that fold one more time.

- Measure your parchment by placing the point of the triangle in the center of your pan. Cut the parchment right at the edge of the pan.

- Unfold the paper to reveal your parchment circle.
