  • About
An Italian member of the chicory family. Its colour ranges from a deep ruby red through to pink, finishing with a creamy white. It comes as a round head and in a long, Cos-like shape. It carries a peppery flavour with a pleasant bitterness as well. A wonderful leaf for simply mixing with other leaves and a drop of dressing.
