  • About

This member of the Brassicas, Brassica pekinensis var. cylindrica, is very pale green with long leaves that form a solid long head. It is also known as celery cabbage in Southeast Asia; the Burmese name is monyin pyu. It can be eaten raw or cooked, and is a useful winter vegetable. Napa cabbage is now widely available in North America.
