After knives and cutting boards, my food processor is probably my most used appliance. It’s useful for sauces, dips, nut butters, no-bake pie crusts, and any sort of quick puree. You want one with a decent-size bowl (it should hold at least 7 quarts). A dough blade is handy for Pecan-Date Cinnamon Roll dough, and the grater attachment helps when you have a ton of vegetable grating to do. I use a Cuisinart, and I love it.
