Many Worcestershire sauces contain anchovy paste and therefore are not vegan. Some brands are vegan; it may take some time to find one, but you will. I tend to buy Caribbean-made Worcestershire sauces like Swiss and Angostura, so have a look in local ethnic markets for potential options. It is also usually available in natural food stores. I use Worcestershire sauce in stews and some soups to mask the flavor of soy products. It also gives a good flavor profile to sauces.
