  • About

CULTIVATION A hardy perennial, sweet woodruff has shiny, light green leaves, growing in a ‘ruff’ at intervals along the stems, and clusters of pure white flowers from late spring. Reaching 30cm (12in), it prefers moist, fertile loam and light shade. Propagate it by sowing seeds in late summer or by dividing the plant during the autumn. Harvest the leaves and flowers from late spring. Grow it as a garden, border and woodland herb.
