  • About

CULTIVATION Clary is a hardy annual with green-veined bracts, coloured in shades of pink, purple, blue and white from midsummer. It reaches 30-45 cm (12-18in) and prefers moderately rich soil and full sun. Sow seeds sparingly in spring and thin the plants to 10cm (4m) apart. Harvest the leaves whenever they are available. It is a pretty garden, border, container and conservatory herb.
