  • About

CULTIVATION The tansy is a hardy herbaceous perennial with aromatic, indented and toothed, bright green leaves and buttercup-yellow, button-shaped flowers from midsummer. It grows to a height of 1-1.25m (3-4ft) and prefers light, well-drained soil and sun or light shade. Propagate it by sowing seeds in spring or by dividing the plant in autumn. Harvest the leaves when they are available from spring until early winter and the flowers from midsummer. A pretty garden, border and container herb.
