  • About

Rosa canina, DOG ROSE

Rosehips are rich in vitamin C and the essential oil of the rose contains nocotinamide and organic acids. A tea made with rosehips is a treatment for debility and a preventative therapy against colds. Rose oil - attar of roses - is valuable in aromatherapy.
A beneficial anti-ageing lotion is a few drops each of rose, neroli, frankincense and sandalwood added to a light vegetable oil. Massage the mixture into the skin or add a few drops of the essential oil mixture to a bowl of hot water for a facial sauna.
