Foods that are high in fibre are essential for good digestive health and have also been linked to maintaining a healthy weight, lowering the chances of diabetes and as a preventative for heart disease and some forms of cancer. Wholewheat pasta, brown rice, wholemeal bread, oats and starchy vegetables such as sweet potato are all good sources.
