  • About
This smooth, oval dark green chile is named after Jalapa, the capital of Veracruz, Mexico. It is about 1 inch in diameter and 2 inches long. The chile can be very hot if the seeds are not removed, but without the seeds it is much milder. The jalapeño is one of the most popular chiles used in the United States.
