Meat Soups

Virtually any meat stew can be converted into a soup by adding more liquid. Some dishes based on poached meats, such as New England boiled dinner and the French pot-au-feu, are actually soups and solid dishes at the same time. (For more ideas, see under the specific meat and then poaching.)
