How to Steam Mussels

  • About
  1. Brush the mussels under cold running water.

  2. Simmer garlic, shallots, and thyme in the wine for 5 minutes, then put the mussels in the pot, cover, and cook over medium to high heat until they are wide open.

  3. Drain in a colander set over a pan or bowl.
