There are two keys to shipping cookies successfully: Wrap them loosely and individually in plastic wrap and use small containers. If you want to ship a lot of cookies, get a lot of small containers and nestle them in Styrofoam (or real) popcorn in a large box. This has recently become easier and less expensive with the availability of the multiple-use disposable plastic containers.
