Closely related to rosemary and thyme, savory is native to temperate climates. This herb can grow from 6 to 20 inches (15 to 50 cm) in height, with leaves from 0.4 to 1.2 inches (1 to 3 cm) in length, and has white to pale pink flowers that form on the stem. Savory is often a prominent flavoring for stuffing, stews, and meat pies.
