  • About
These thin sheets of Japanese dried cultivated seaweed are of the same type as Welsh laver, which is found clinging to rocks at low tide, though they are treated differently and have a different flavour. Nori is most often eaten grilled and wrapped around glutinous rice in sushi. It is also very good briefly grilled and eaten in pieces as a nibble with drinks.
