Rolled Oats
Add 50 g rolled oats and the grated rind of 1 orange to 100 g plain flour. Substitute 100 g crushed almond macaroons for the sugar
Chocolate
Chop 100 g good-quality plain chocolate and add to the crumble mix. (Avoid using cooking chocolate.)
Nuts
Add 100 g finely chopped nuts, such as walnuts or toasted hazelnuts.
Almond
Omit the sugar and add 100 g almond macaroons instead.
