Dip thin slice from a quartered, cored and peeled apple in lemon juice to prevent discolouration.
Arrange in deep, buttered muffin tins and pour in the Clafoutis better. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
While the apple puddings are cooking, dip unpeeled apple slices in a light caramel and place on non-stick baking parchment to set.
