A cherry stoner is a small cup with a hollow base in which to place the cherry, A spike closes on to the fruit, piercing it and pushing- out the stone.
Hold the fruit over a basin to catch the stones as they are released. To avoid damaging the fruit and losing juices, use your stoner with care. Hold and pierce the fruit gently.
