Removing the core When you have removed the skin from a pineapple, cut slices across the length of the fruit. Lay each disc flat, then cut out the core or stamp it out with a cutter.
Cooking rings Grill or sauté the rings with flavourings. A sprinkling of coconut, rum, orange juice or cinnamon, pieces of clove, star anise or lime zest are all delicious with pineapple.
