Tuile biscuits shaped into baskets make good containers for many desserts. 1 quantity of stencil paste will make 16 baskets. Bake 4 at a time in a 180°C oven for 5-8 minutes, until the edges are golden-brown.

  1. Place 1 tbsp stencil paste on a greased baking tray or parchment and, using a palette knife, spread it outwards from the centre in a ring of overlapping petals. Bake as above.

  2. Loosen the baked tuile with a palette knife. Place it in a bowl and shape it by weighting the centre with a biscuit cutter.
