Dukkah

A Middle Eastern spice mixture originating in Egypt made with sesame seeds, hazelnuts, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, salt and dried wild fennel. It is typically used as a dip with olive oil for bread or fresh vegetables and is also sprinkled over roasted meats and fish. Available from supermarkets, specialty food retailers and spice suppliers.
