Nuts – Toasting

When toasting nuts, put them onto a baking tray in a single layer and gently roast in a preheated 150°C oven. The nuts are ready when they just begin to take on colour. If they are toasted too much, they become bitter and taste burnt. Hazelnuts will need to be peeled once they are toasted to remove their papery brown skins.
