  • About
Rice is one of the most important staples in the Caribbean diet and it is eaten at least once day by most people. Rice is grown on a few of the islands where it is hot and wet: Dominican Republic, Cuba, Trinidad and Puerto Rico where it is generally used just for local consumption. Other islands have to import their rice.
