A Puerto Rican dry-rub seasoning combining garlic, oregano, salt and pepper, adobo is usually used on meat, especially pork. To make your own adobo seasoning, blend together 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp dried oregano and a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper. Or make into a paste using vinegar and fresh ingredients.
