  • About
Both sea oysters and mangrove oysters can be found in the Caribbean, though it is the oysters that attatch to trees in the mangroves that are the most popular with the islanders. They are generally sold by street vendors who open them on demand and serve them with a spicy tomato sauce with lime and hot pepper.
