Psyllium husk powder will give baked goods the plant’s distinctive husky flavor. To off set that, increase the quantities of extracts and other flavorings in the recipe. Use psyllium in moderation so as not to get dry baked goods. And while you’re at it, drink plenty of water (the fiber is a natural laxative).
Now, I feel obligated to give some time to two magicrubber-band substitutes I don’t look on with favor.
