Food History News (FHN), first published in June 1989, ended publication in January 2010 after eighty issues. It was one of the longest-standing publications dealing with the subject of food history. With a small circulation, it had an influence far beyond its size, enjoying an eclectic readership consisting of food writers, historic cooks, military reenactors, chefs, academics, and food professionals of all sorts, as well as a substantial general readership. Food History News was published four times a year.
