  • About
In all food service jobs, the simple reality calls for near-perfect attendance, hard physical work, and a “positive,” customer-friendly attitude. While kitchen work can be hot and require handling heavy loads and powerful equipment, the front of house service positions may also require staff to handle heavy trays, haul weighty garbage bags, and move tables and furnishings. All food service work calls for physical strength and stamina as well as high energy and endurance. Hence, it is appealing to young people and becomes progressively more difficult as most workers age.
