Oysters, Fried

The tidewater Chesapeake Oyster is known to be smaller and more tasty than its northern and western neighbors. In this Mid-Atlantic region oysters were historically offered with a question; “fried, stewed, or nude?” Fried oysters are more common in this region than the other two offerings.
