  • About
The Scotch are best known for inventing Scotch whisky and bourbon, which are often served straight up with a splash of spring water to bring out the smoky natural flavors. Many Scottish American beverages are made with whisky and bourbon, including eggnog (auld man’s milk), mint julep, old fashioned, Rob Roy, hot toddy, and Scotch coffee. Nonalcoholic drinks include hot buttered rum and hot Scotch (hot chocolate, butterscotch schnapps, and fresh whipped cream).
